IBM Announces Quantum Computing Breakthrough at IEEE Rebooting Computing Event

IBM’s scientists have successfully built and measured a processor prototype with 50 quantum bits, known as qubits — a major milestone in quantum computing. This breaking news was shared for the first time at the 2017 IEEE Industry Summit on the Future of Computing, part of IEEE Rebooting Computing Week, November 2017.
